Meeting notices

The Chesterfield County School Board has several meetings scheduled:

· The School Board will meet in closed session at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the School Administration Building, 9900 Krause Road, to discuss personnel pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(1) of the Code of Virginia and to consult with legal counsel pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(7). The board will have dinner at 5 p.m.

· Also on Jan. 26, the School Board will conduct a business meeting at 7 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road. During the meeting, Superintendent Marcus Newsome will present his proposed budget for fiscal year 2011.

· The School Board will hold a joint meeting about the budget with the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 29 in the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center, 6610 Public Safety Way.

· The School Board will meet in closed session at 4 p.m. Feb. 1 in the School Administration Building to discuss possible student disciplinary action pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(2) of the Code of Virginia.

· School Board members will attend a meeting with faith leaders at 8 a.m. Feb. 10 at the School Administration Building.

· Also on Feb. 10, the School Board will hold a joint meeting about the comprehensive plan with the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors and the Chesterfield County Planning Commission at 1 p.m. in the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center.
